This page explains how the website etshadaat.com (the "Website") uses cookies and similar technologies.
This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website, which lets it recognise your browser from one visit to the next. Other technologies, such as the browser's local storage, can do the same.
2. Cookies used by the Website
The Website sets a single cookie, and only if you change the language with the FR / EN button:
- lang: remembers the language you chose, so that the home page is shown in that language on your next visits. It only contains the language code ("fr" or "en") and expires after one year.
This cookie is only used to customise the interface at your request: it is exempt from consent under Article 82 of the amended French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978. Without it, the home page is shown in your browser's language.
The Website does not use your browser's local storage. It does not include any audience measurement, advertising, social media sharing or tracking tools.
That is why no banner asks for your consent: there is nothing to accept or refuse.
3. Security cookies set by our host
In some situations, for example when it needs to check that a visit does not come from a malicious bot, our host Cloudflare may set a technical cookie that is strictly necessary for the security of the Website. Such cookies are not used to track you and are exempt from consent under Article 82 of the amended French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978.
4. Third-party services
To display its fonts and icons, the Website uses Google Fonts. This service does not set cookies, but your browser sends your IP address to Google's servers, as explained in the privacy policy.
The Website also links to the Valoda application (valoda.app), which has its own cookie rules, described on its website.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies at any time. The Website works normally without cookies.
6. Changes
Should the Website ever use cookies that require consent, this policy would be updated and your consent would be requested before any such cookie is set.
